The Hamilton/Halton branch of ORMTA wishes to honour the memory of June Caskey, an extraordinary Hamilton piano teacher, who passed away this past summer. The memorial concert is a ticketed event, planned as a fundraiser to raise a proposed $2,500 for a scholarship in June’s name. This money will be used to fund a senior scholarship of $250 a year for at least 10 years. Teachers are welcome to perform as well as their finest students. Well-known Hamilton pianists Valerie Tryon, Alexei Gulenco and Larissa Gulenco will be performing at the concert as well. June loved working with students of all ages.
